Magic Magic 0.1.2 0.1.3

This week I could not do much, even to pursue my RL RPG from which this was taken, but especially for problems related to programming.

fact, I tried to focus on converting the game for Windows, but it seems more daunting than expected: the problem I am facing now is to input system commands. On Linux, while not present at the functions that make my case, I used a script called termios that allowed me to create exactly what I needed.

The problem is that it does not work on the termios terminal win32/dos point so I'm headed. I have trawled the D to see if the API provided some help, but I have not found anything and the forum seems dead. At present I am trying to use the chat.

At worst I'll have groped to convert the C libraries that provide funzone getch and see if I can. Otherwise, goodbye windows version: D

termios However, this research has provided me with the skills to expand the set of commands in future versions of the game, and introducing the combination with the ctrl.

We'll see.

Icy-name:--== Rocknroll ==--

'm back.

As I said in my (ex) Most Recent Post, the project was on hold and only now is the time to take back and try to improve it.

Since I had the opportunity and time to test it on a laptop I could find several bugs and I'm seeing some gaps to fill. The biggest shortcoming is the slow initialization improved the game that is now reduced to zero: this will also affect the saved game, which first took away a long time, and the transition from one level to another which is now almost instantaneous .

A bug not yet resolved concerns the traps, if you use the REST up a trap the game freezes and hit points continue to fall well below freezing. I hope to solve soon.

I also have to focus on special skills and magic in general in particular.

Contrary to what I thought I should not resume familiarity with the language and I'm also considering a version of windows and unix (which should be compatible with Mac).

Stay tuned.
